Don’t apologise.

Don’t apologise for the stolen kisses,

secret strolls

and silent conversations.

Don’t apologise for the sleepless nights,
lazy days,
or endless summers.
Don’t apologise for the red on your lips
the taste of alcohol on them
or clothes that smell of mischief.
Don’t apologise for the long conversations,
about nothing,
and silent conversations about everything.
Don’t apologise,
for the things that made you smile.
For when those who judge you couldn’t,
these little vices made you smile.
